Xavier Beltran, Principal of X.Beltran Architects, Inc., located in Los Angeles, is a licensed Architect in the state of California. With 16 years experience, Xavier executes a variety of residential projects, from custom to multi-family residential properties. Xavier has developed a great admiration for the rich collection of homes throughout Los Angeles and an affinity for the broad range of vernacular styles that inspired them.
Before starting his independent practice, Xavier served six years as Senior Supervising Architect for Tim Barber, Ltd, in Los Angeles. Prior to this position, he was a Project Manager with Living Architecture in Sun Valley, Idaho, specializing in environmentally sustainable residential design. In California he focuses on high-end, custom homes — from vintage reinvention and traditional design, to contemporary and transitional projects that blend modern design and traditional features.
He has had the honor of bringing over 60 projects to fruition — many for prominent residents — in the Hollywood Hills, the west LA neighborhoods, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and Studio City, as well as Montecito and Santa Ynez near Santa Barbara. In addition to the architectural teams he has led, Xavier has collaborated with notable and highly respected Interior Designers and Builders.
Xavier attended the University of California, Berkeley, attaining his degree in Architecture, with a minor in City Planning, and has obtained LEED and Bau-Biologie certifications. His skills and cultural understanding have been further informed by his wide range of travels through Europe, South and Central America as well as across the United States. Xavier’s work at Tim Barber Ltd has been featured in Coastal Living and the New York Times.
