Tailored Architecture.

X Beltran Architects’ process is deeply steeped in a long-held admiration for the rich collection of homes found throughout California, and in an affinity for the broad range of vernacular styles that inspired them.

We approach every project with a philosophy rooted in the importance of preservation and transformation, to create a 21st century abode. Each home shares its personality through its history, features and elemental details; there is always a story to be told.

To create truly Tailored Architecture, we work closely with our clients to understand their vision for the home. We then marry these aspirations with the character of the house, to achieve a final design uniquely suited to each client.

For renovation projects, XBA ensures that the design stays faithful to the language of the original architecture while incorporating updates fit for a modern family, extending a home's relevance for decades to come. Ground-up projects take this approach one step further, recreating a timeless vernacular design from the past for a new construction.

Collaboration is fundamental when bringing any project to fruition. XBA has extensive experience working with renowned designers and builders and understands that teamwork is at the core of thoughtful results. We are here to guide clients along the way to make for an enjoyable and creative process.

XBA believes in an intimate approach to design. Xavier accompanies clients from conception through move-in, as this is the most effective way to properly document, execute, and oversee design. It is critical to set realistic expectations in regards to timing and budget from the onset. XBA embraces an evolving construction process; we are always present to problem-solve and overcome any challenges that may arise.
